The Peasant farmer is out there. A great many of the world's population are identified as a peasant. In Canada peasants have all but left the rural landscape for city life. As the quality of city life decreases, and the cost of living rises. It is to be expected that many people will turn, once again, to the countryside to live and survive. This resource is here to help peasants or peasants to be, adapt to life outside of the convenience suffered within well developed areas. Information, but more importantly practical skills are needed to create a sustainable life. The rising costs, and questionable quality, of food is becoming a topic of consideration by concerned citizens. Also of great concern, is the status of the terrain and the necessity to promote its return to health for future generations.
